While some course owners are suffering from lower revenues as a result of declining rounds played and increased costs of operation, the battle for discounted green fees just got hotter with the announcement that British Columbia Golf and International Club Network (ICN) have partnered in an effort to make golf more accessible and affordable to British Columbia Golf members, ostensibly in an effort to help grow the game of golf.

A program designed to introduce the benefits of learning about golf at the grassroots level in schools across Canada received a major boost today when Golf Canada and the PGA of Canada announced that Callaway Golf Canada is making a significant commitment to help introduce the sport to thousands of children through the Canadian elementary school system by becoming the presenting sponsor of the National Golf in Schools program over the next three years.
